The Mothers Day High Tea was a really enjoyable afternoon in a picturesque setting. It was a friendly, family atmosphere. The venue had plenty of room to move and was very comfortable. The food was scrumptious and we were looked after by staff who were friendly and approachable. I hope for more of these events in the future and would definitely recommend Lake Oberon Estate to everyone.

Great day with great friends

Lake Oberon Estate is a hidden gem. The place is great with so many facilities - a real treat for any weddings or group bookings through to individual needs. We were very impressed with the services and also the kindness of Julie and Tony. A great couple who has built amazing facilities. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which had everything you could ask for. We took nothing except ourselves and clothes. The suite is a great self-contained room, with lounge, kitchenette and ensuite. Loved being up high to catch the views. The road was sealed and the property was 5.5 km from Oberon. We also got to see four other fully self-contained cabins, an amazing gym , a self-contained sauna, and two other great entertaining venues to host any type of event. For those wanting to celebrate a birthday, a wedding, any event, the back-drop of Lake Oberon is fantastic. Enjoy your time at Lake Oberon Estate.

The views over looking Lake Oberon are world class. Additionally your hosts can cater for many occasions. Highly recommended !!!!!!

Exceptional 2 night stay with my family at Lake Oberon Estate. The property is so well built and maintained, and every convenience has been thoughtfully considered. It's by far the best equipped kitchen and self contained chalet/cabin that i've stayed in with high quality fixtures and furnishings. Julie was warm and welcoming and allowed us to enjoy the property, providing great tips on fishing and guidance with the local area. I agree with other reviews that the pictures on the website rarely do justice to this place. If you are thinking of booking - you won't regret it!

Julie and Tony were absolutely lovely hosts. Enjoyed every second of our weekend stay. We had a quick tour of the estate upon arrival and the facilities were amazing, clean and tidy, and our chalet was immaculate. The location above all else is just stunning, and I highly recommend staying here whether it be for a weekend getaway or for a longer trip. Waking up in the morning and looking out of the chalet onto the lake was incredibly peaceful and a serenity you do not at all experience in a busy city like Sydney! A must stay!!

What an experience. I have to say this has to be one of the best getaway experiences I have had in recent memory. The location is superb. With breathtaking views of undulating hills, a tranquil lake and green pastures with cows and sheep aplenty, right from your front porch, Lake Oberon Estate, at less then 3 hours from Sydney, is a must visit. The facilities are modern yet cosy. With a nice rustic touch whilst feeling premium and clean. The chalets are spacious with big bedrooms, open lounge room and dining and an impressive kitchen. Each chalet has its own BBQ and there is also a communal firepit. The wifi is fast and reception was great (my wife is with Voda and I am with Optus and we both had 5 bars). And don't get me started on the gym. Wow wow weeee wow. I travel a lot for work and can safely say this is the best hotel / resort gym I have had the pleasure of pumping iron in for years. It has everything you need for a solid workout with an awesome view to appreciate as well. There is also a sauna and spa though I didn't end up using those facilities which I must admit I deeply regret (lost track of time staring at the view and neglecting my wife...) The local town has a great pub and is only 10 minutes away by car. The Jenolan Caves are also a must see and are less then 30 away. Finally, the owners of Lake Oberon are a pleasure to deal with. Communication and customer service 5 stars! They are beautiful people and have done an amazing job with the place. I can't wait to go back. Would also make the perfect wedding venue!

My new favourite getaway place!! Our stay at Lake Oberon Estate was so special and peaceful, made all the more amazing by beautiful hosts who made you feel like family. The facilities were amazing and the chalet was so cute, spacious and very clean. We had our own kitchen, laundry, BBQ, fire place, Wi-fi (that worked at high speeds), and access to a sauna, a spa and a well-equipped gym. Not to mention the breathtaking views overlooking the countryside and the lake... hubby and I are sad we're already married otherwise we would've wed here!! Overall our stay did not disappoint and we're already picking dates for our next Oberon getaway!
